In an effort to help self-published authors weed through all the hype about writing a book and publishing it, a group of authors, editors, and Internet marketers formed an informal network to share information.
One group sponsored by Family Trust Publishing, writer to author expanded to help speakers write books for back of room sales. The "Speakers and Authors" network shares information on irregular Friday morning teleconferences. There is no charge for the calls, some of which are recorded for those who miss the call.
Family Trust Publishing invites you to join our journey in keeping published books worth reading. The recent trend of book publishers printing any book that an author pays for gives the industry an image of "quantity" over "quality." Authors need more help in the early stages of writing their books. A few basic writing skills helps experts and speakers write a quality book.
Authors who pay exorbitant fees to get their book "published" often end up with a garage full of books, a crushed ego, and heartache.
